ABOUT

Café Marietta is located in Altos de Chavón a beautiful replica of a 16th century Mediterranean village within the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic.  ‘Altos de Chavón’ means ‘the heights along the Chavón River’, and this spectacular setting is where Café Marietta sits.

Walking along the cobblestone streets with its shops and boutiques, one comes to the steps leading up to Café Marietta. Stepping into the open air restaurant with its pleasant breeze one sees the breathtaking view overlooking the Chavón River and surrounding countryside, to include the Pete Dye designed Dye Four course. It is truly a wonderful and relaxing setting.

But Café Marietta is more than just a one-in-a-million location with a unique view. Our food is as good as the vistas! Our home-made pasta is to die for. Our pizzas are all specially made in our wood-fired brick oven. Our seafood and shellfish are all fresh and locally sourced from the Caribbean Sea. Our burgers and steaks are justly famous, and our Saturday and Sunday brunch menu has become very popular on the weekends. On top of all this, we have a fine wine list to accompany the excellent food we offer.

So, if you’re looking for a great meal in a fabulous, relaxed setting, come see us. You won’t be disappointed!
